In my opinion, Mayhem was one of the greatest Black Metal bands
of all time. The band consisted of three people, Euronymous on 
guitars, Necro Butcher on bass, and Manheim on drums. Maniac 
became vocals. Manheim left and was replaced by Hellhammer, and
Maniac was replaced by Dead.  Dead was known as the vocalist
of the Swedish Black Metal band Morbid. In 1991, Dead shot himself  
ending his life.  Necro Butcher left,leaving Euronymous and 
Hellhammer.  Count Grishnackh from Black Metal band Burzum came as 
the bassist.  He later kill Euronymous on in 93, and was sentenced to 
life in prision. Mayhem is and will always be one of the greatest 
Black Metal bands ever!   Their souls shall live on!!
